Who is responsible for your information
JAEY COMMERCE (CIPC Reg 2026/296112/07), a South African private company based in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa, is the responsible party for information collected through this website. You can reach us about anything on this page at junior@jaeycommerce.store.
What the quote form collects
When you submit a sourcing request we collect only the fields in that form:
- Your name and email address, and your company name if you choose to give it.
- A description of the product you need, the quantity and any specification notes you write.
- Your delivery city and country, and your indicated timeline.
- The file names of any documents you choose to attach, together with your two consent confirmations.
We do not ask for identity documents, bank details or card details, and you should never upload them. We do not collect special personal information or children's information through this site.
Why we use it
To read and respond to your enquiry, to search for suppliers able to meet it, and to keep a record of what was requested under your reference. That is the only purpose. We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not use it for marketing lists.
Who may see it
Personnel at the desk who handle your enquiry, and — only where necessary to source what you asked for — the suppliers we approach on your behalf. Where a supplier is outside South Africa, that means your enquiry details may cross borders for the purpose you submitted them for. We share the minimum needed to obtain a meaningful response, and we do not share your contact details with suppliers without cause.
Where it is stored
Submissions are stored in a private database that is not readable from this website by the public. Access is restricted to server-side systems and the personnel handling enquiries.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and for a reasonable period afterwards for business records, then deleted. You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner and we will do so unless we are legally required to keep it.
Your rights under POPIA
- Ask what information about you we hold, and ask for a copy.
- Ask us to correct or delete it.
- Object to how we use it, or withdraw a consent you gave.
- Complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa if you believe we have handled your information unlawfully.
Send any of these requests to junior@jaeycommerce.store.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not run analytics, advertising pixels or tracking cookies. That is why you are not being asked to accept a cookie banner. If that changes, this notice will change with it and consent will be requested where required.
Security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect submissions, but no transmission over the internet can be guaranteed absolutely secure. Please do not send sensitive financial or identity information to us by any channel.
